New Zealand Orders

We charge a flat rate of $10+GST per order for tracked courier shipping to non-rural addresses and $15 + GST for tracked courier shipping to rural addresses in New Zealand. We aim to dispatch all orders within two working days. 

For those who would like to buy kava in Auckland, but don't want or cannot wait for a couple of days, you may be able to find most of our products at one of our retailers.

International Orders

We are happy to ship our kava to most countries and territories. The shipping cost varies depending on the order's weight and destination. Before the final checkout page you will be shown what the cost of shipping is.

Depending on your location, you can choose to have your ordered delivered by New Zealand Post (EMS) or by a Premium International Courier Service (DHL). Both options come with tracking.

General Note: Throughout the years we have successfully sent large amounts of kava to our friends located across the entire globe. The overwhelming majority of packages have reached their destinations without any problems. However, please note that we are unable to guarantee delivery outside of New Zealand. If your package gets seized, lost, or doesn't reach you for any other reason outside of our control, we won't be able to offer you any refund. Above all, please remember that it is your responsibility to ensure that you are allowed to import, posses or use kava in your jurisdiction.

Australia:

Unfortunately, it is illegal to export/import kava to Australia via post, courier services or unaccompanied baggage. However, it is perfectly legal for adults to bring up to 4 kilograms of kava powder to Australia in their accompanied baggage when they travel via aircraft or ship (see the Australian Department of Immigration and Border Protection's website on kava imports and allowances). We often sell kava to Australian customers visiting New Zealand. Let us know if you or any of your friends is planning to travel across the ditch - we can deliver kava to any hotel or private accommodation in the country.

The destinations where we can ship our kava to fall into two zones when it comes to the shipping rates offered by New Zealand Post (note that all prices are in New Zealand dollars. $1 NZD = apx $0.6 USD):

Because New Zealand Post does not directly control all parts of the delivery service, they cannot guarantee that your item will always reach its destination within the delivery target times. Delivery to areas outside major cities, or where your item is dutiable or held in Customs, may take longer.
