One of Vanuatu's three most popular nakamal varieties, Palarasul is prized for its exceptionally smooth character and light, floral profile. Grown only on Espiritu Santo, nearly all of it is consumed locally by those who've appreciated it for generations. Palarasul was the first single cultivar we sourced from Vanuatu and remains our personal favourite.
Character: Uplifting and refreshing with a clean heady profile, moderate onset, and gentle mellowness. Despite its heady character, Palarasul is known for a sense of peacefulness that makes it uniquely versatile. Reliable and consistent regardless of growing conditions. Popular for socialising, creative work, or peaceful contemplation.
Taste & Aroma: Pleasantly floral, smooth and creamy, with notes of cashew, lemongrass and spice. Exceptionally smooth and light.
Instant Format: Traditional kava powder contains coarse, woody fibres that must be strained out before drinking. For our instant kava, freshly harvested roots are washed, peeled, and have these fibres carefully removed prior to drying and milling into an ultra-fine powder. This is why you can enjoy it without any straining or kneading, just mix with water.

Mild prolonged effects. Not my absolute favorite but great for slow flow creative work and beautiful in smaller dose before yoga and meditation sessions.

I think was a bit expectant of little hit as described by a friend, but that didn't happen. I will enjoy the rest, and perhaps try another variety as well.
Great product
The palarasul is really good when I want a more heady uplifting kava that still gives nice relaxation, although shorter lasting body relaxation than a borogoru. I find having a shell every 15 to 20 minutes is good and it is very well parked with music. Palarasul is the kavai'd personally recommend to first time users. Can induce a nicelittle euphoria but still make you just want to sit and appreciate the wind in the trees if you're feeling pensive. Personally I am not a fan of the kelai or the green, palarasul seems to not have the aspects of those I don't like yet still feels 'heady'. My second favourite kavanext to borogoru.
