


Palarasul Single Cultivar Instant Green Kava
Santo's Finest: Exceptionally Smooth, Uplifting and Refreshing
One of Vanuatu's three most popular nakamal varieties, Palarasul is prized for its exceptionally smooth, uplifting effects and light, floral character. Grown only on Espiritu Santo, nearly all of it is consumed locally by those who've appreciated it for generations.

- Distinctive kavalactone profile: Higher kavain and dihydrokavain to DHM ratio than most Vanuatu cultivars; the elevated dihydrokavain creates the gentle, balanced character
Instant Green Format: Made using a proprietary instant green process: fresh kava juice obtained through cold water extraction and careful filtration of freshly harvested, peeled Santo roots, then immediately dehydrated into pure instant granules. Mix directly with water or juice—no straining required.
Palarasul was the first single cultivar we sourced from Vanuatu and remains my personal favourite. It inspired us to build our entire fresh-processing system.

Laterals-to-stump ratio: Natural (30-70%)
Preparation: Mix 1 sachet or 1 heaping teaspoon (~8g) with 200ml water or juice per serving. We recommend 2 servings per session (~16g total). Instant kava guide.
Note: Instant processing prioritises convenience and effect consistency. Traditional grind offers fuller aroma and flavour complexity.
